New Space "CADAN Otemachi" Opens
Summary
The Japan Contemporary Art Dealers Association (CADAN), a non-profit organization comprising 50 contemporary art galleries in Japan, has launched a new space called "CADAN Otemachi" on the first floor of the TOKYO TORCH Zenigamecho Building. CADAN, established in 2015 to contribute to the development of Japanese contemporary art, previously operated "CADAN Yurakucho." The inaugural exhibition at the new Otemachi location is titled "Transcending Borders 越境," featuring works by eight artists selected from the perspective of four Kansai-based galleries: Yoshiaki Inoue Gallery, The Third Gallery Aya, MORI YU GALLERY, and FINCH ARTS. Moving forward, CADAN Otemachi will host rotating exhibitions organized by member galleries every two to three weeks.
