The Tomakomai City Museum of Art will host a free admission day on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 10:00 to 16:00, allowing everyone to view all exhibitions for free. The day will feature several events, including the special exhibition "Cultural Properties of Tomakomai: History Connected by People and Things," the collection exhibition "Masaharu Fukui x Teiichi Watanabe," and the courtyard exhibition Vol.21 "MELTY BUDDHA" by Tenshin Kazama. Activities include the "Exciting Jomon Land" where visitors can try ancient skills like fire-starting and ring toss, and a workshop to create finger replicas (for 3rd graders and up, first-come, first-served, free admission, no application required). Additionally, museum curators will provide guided spot explanations on Natural History, History, Ainu culture, Archaeology, and Art (Collection Exhibition) throughout the day.
