Murakami reinterpreted the Capucines alongside the Louis Vuitton design team, transforming some versions into portable, sculptural works of art by completely altering their size and shape. The collection comprises 11 types, all sold in limited quantities. Highlights include the colorful 'Capucines EW Rainbow,' the 'Capucines Mini Mushroom' featuring hand-embroidered mushroom characters, the 'Capucines Mini Tentacle' inspired by a sculptural work of 'Dojin-kun' transformed into a playful octopus, the 'Capucines EW Dragon' faithfully reproducing an 18-meter painting, the 'Capucines BB Golden Garden' covered in leather marquetry and gold leaf, and the sculptural 'Panda Clutch' adorned with 6,250 hand-applied rhinestones.
