This performance is part of the 10th-anniversary project for ROHM Theatre Kyoto and is scheduled for November 21st and 22nd. This marks the company's first performance in Kyoto in 32 years and their first visit to Japan in eight years since their 2017 staging of 'Carnations—NELKEN.' The production features the original dancers who worked with Bausch for many years. 'Sweet Mambo' premiered in Wuppertal, Germany, in May 2008. In addition to this significant performance, ROHM Theatre Kyoto's 10th-anniversary program also includes 'Planet[wanderer]' by Damien Jalet and Kohei Nawa, and 'WAVES' by Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan.
