Following the Tokyo exhibition, it will tour five other locations: Kyoto, Nagoya, Osaka, Azumino, and Kanazawa. This year marks a change in numbering, counting from the first Bunten exhibition in 1907, resulting in the designation "The 118th Nitten." The exhibition will feature approximately 3,000 works across five divisions: Japanese Painting, Western Painting, Sculpture, Craft Art, and Calligraphy, including works by award winners, members, and associate members. Ryohei Miyata, Chairman of Nitten, encourages visitors to view the five categories with the mindset of "forest bathing," suggesting they pause to appreciate the beauty and unique worldviews presented in the art. Various events featuring Nitten artists will also be held during the exhibition period.
