Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art and Towada Art Center jointly announced their 2026 exhibition schedules at a press conference. The Hirosaki Museum will host Hiroshi Sugito's solo exhibition, "Flyleaf and Liner" (Dec 5, 2025–May 17, 2026), featuring collaborations with Kazunari Hattori and a work co-created with Yoshitomo Nara. Other highlights include Sachiko Kazama's first solo show in Tohoku and a group exhibition tentatively titled "Taisho ⇄ Reiwa Avant-garde" (Dec 4, 2026–May 16, 2027), contrasting early modern and contemporary works.
