The Aomori Contemporary Art Centre (ACAC) is hosting the Artist in Residence (AIR) results presentation exhibition, titled "CAMP," from November 14 to 29, 2025, at the Takken Art Exhibition Hall Cooperative Association, due to facility renovations at the main ACAC building. This year, five artists were selected: Kai Maetani, Rie Tanji, Adi Sundoro, Atittayaporn Saenpo, and Samantha Clark (recommended by Pier Arts Centre in Scotland), chosen from over 800 applications, with Kaho Ikeda serving as the guest juror. The exhibition title "CAMP" refers to temporary dwelling, skill training, or counter-establishment aesthetics, and the exhibition aims to examine the potential of "CAMP" as a means of survival by visualizing an environment where creators can distance themselves from urban comforts to focus on their work. Various related events, including workshops, talks, and performances by the participating artists, are scheduled throughout the exhibition period.
