Enjoy Paintings with Correction Lenses; Art Exhibition Lends Them to Color Vision Minorities
Summary
The NPO "True Colors," which works on awareness for people with color vision differences, will lend correction lenses free of charge at the "UNKNOWN ASIA" art exhibition held on the 6th and 7th in Umeda South Hall, Osaka City. Since people with color vision differences often perceive red as black or brown, some avoid art, but the organizers hope they will enjoy the paintings using the lenses. The exhibition will also feature experience lenses allowing the general public to understand how those with color vision differences perceive the world. The NPO's director, Noriko Takahashi, expressed hope that visitors will learn about the differences in vision and become more tolerant of those affected.
