The special exhibition, "The Harmony That Mucha Dreamed Of," examines the concept of "harmony"—which includes sound, color, and nature—as a source of comfort and a means to achieve a better world, as reflected in the art of Alphonse Mucha. Although famous for his elegant female figures, Mucha dedicated his life to creating art that wished for human happiness, striving for art accessible to the masses even in his commercial works, not just in masterpieces like the "Slav Epic." The exhibition centers on the museum's representative large oil painting, "Harmony" (approx. 1.5m x 4.5m), analyzing common motifs and compositions across carefully selected collection pieces to uncover the sentiments Mucha intended to convey through his work. It introduces a new facet of Mucha as an artist through the theme of "harmony." The exhibition runs from December 6, 2025, to March 29, 2026.
