Following a rigorous voting process among the submitted works for the 'Machinaka Art Festival,' held near Nishiyama Park from August 9 to October 12, 2025, the Best Artist has been determined. The Manabe Audience Award was given to Tetsuo Kabuto. His work, "Kizamu 2025 VII," was inspired by the aesthetic beauty of the bark of Konara oak trees, expressing the powerful vitality of nature and human reverence for it through the woodblock printing technique. Tetsuo Kabuto, born in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, has an extensive history of awards in various art exhibitions. As the winner, Mr. Kabuto is awarded the right to hold a solo exhibition at Manabe no Yakata.
