A vibrant wall art titled "Galaxy Railway Nambu Line" has been painted at the entrance of the JR East Kamakura Rolling Stock Center Nakahara Branch (formerly the Nakahara Train Depot). This artwork was created in 2023 by 13 students from the Shinjo High School Art Club, following a request from JR East. The location, situated near Shinjo High School, was previously just a plain white wall when it was the Nakahara Train Depot. The mural depicts Nambu Line rolling stock running through a starry sky like a galaxy railway. The facility is where Nambu Line vehicles are maintained.
