A special exhibition titled "Hyakumangoku! The Kaga Maeda Family," commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Maeda Ikutokukai Foundation, will be held at the Tokyo National Museum's Heiseikan from April 14 to June 7, 2026. This exhibition will showcase the full scope of cultural assets passed down through the Kaga Maeda family, including armor, Jinbaori (surcoats), and swords belonging to successive heads of the family, starting with the first head, Toshiie, in a comprehensive display for the first time in 60 years. Early bird discount tickets (300 yen cheaper than same-day tickets) will be exclusively sold on the "Art Exhibition Navi Ticket App" from December 12, 2025, to January 19, 2026. Furthermore, the exhibition will feature a collaboration with the game "Touken Ranbu ONLINE," as several famous swords displayed, such as the National Treasure "Tachi Mei Kōsei Saku (Meibutsu Daitenta Mitsuyo)," are featured characters in the game.
