On December 30th, the Art Club of Sano Higashi High School created and dedicated a large ema (votive picture tablet) depicting the next year's zodiac animal, the Horse, to the Asanuma Hachimangu Shrine in Asanuma Town. The club annually creates and dedicates ema to pray for the community's good health, longevity, and peace. This year's piece measures 90 cm high by 180 cm wide and prominently features a dynamic white horse against a background of a lake and pine trees.
