Taro Okamoto's Logo Revived. Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes Cap Collection Released.
Summary
Global sports and lifestyle brand New Era is launching a new collection featuring the logo of the former professional baseball team, the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes, which existed from 1949 to 2004. The team's logo, a charging bull motif created by Taro Okamoto in 1959, was central to the team's identity. This collection prominently features that logo on the front, designed to evoke Okamoto's characteristic energy. In addition to the standard headwear line, this collaboration introduces a Long Brim Hat for the first time, utilizing the silhouette of New Era's signature "59FIFTY®" but with an extended brim, offering a different impression for the classic logo. The collection will be released on January 8th at New Era stores nationwide (excluding New Era Shinjuku East) and the official online store.
