The exhibition draws from the museum's collection of approximately 6,000 post-war to contemporary works, focusing on new acquisitions across two main sections. The first floor, "Multiple Self-Portraits," explores images revolving around the self through various means, featuring artists like Yasumasa Morimura, Yuasa Eboshi, and Erina Matsui, alongside works by others including Andy Warhol. The third floor features a special exhibition, "Natsuyuki Nakanishi, Akiko Ikeuchi — Arch and Catenary," showcasing the works of Nakanishi and Ikeuchi, both of whom explore expansive worlds originating from the present body, including new acquisitions and site-specific work by Ikeuchi.
