Art Court Gallery, based in Osaka and Kyoto, is launching a new base in Los Angeles called "Takeo Yagi Presents @ The Penthouse," in cooperation with the LA-based music entertainment company "Project Asteri." This project aims to disseminate entertainment and culture in a broader sense, transcending the boundaries of music and art, utilizing the studio "The Penthouse" as its venue. Art Court Gallery, known for introducing unique contemporary artists since its establishment in 2003, plans to continuously develop a creative space unrestricted by borders or genres, including exhibitions of painting, sculpture, and technology-based works, as well as collaborations between music and art. The inaugural exhibition, "TYP Vol. 01 - Makoto Shinpei, Kyotaro Hakamada, Shirō Matsui," will feature three artists across different generations to explore the continuity and potential for renewal in contemporary Japanese art.
