The "Forest and Sea Art Exhibition," featuring works created by the president of Musashino Art University and junior and senior high school students from Miyagi Prefecture through fieldwork, is being held at the Ishinomaki City Museum. This exhibition showcases the results of a two-year effort focused on the nature of the Sanriku region. University President Sachikazu Kabayama is exhibiting large-scale paintings depicting the Ojika Peninsula and ancient stone circles, alongside 12 other oil paintings and drawings. Additionally, 21 pieces by 18 participating junior and senior high school students, who sketched various locations like Ishinomaki's coastlines, are displayed. Students expressed that interacting with university students and the public allowed them to grow. The exhibition runs until March 15th.
