The National Center for Art Research (NCAR) and the AWARE department of the Centre Pompidou's Musée national d'art moderne are jointly accepting applications for the FY2027 "NCAR × AWARE Women Artists Research Fellowship." The fellowship supports research by researchers, curators, and others residing or staying in Japan on women artists with connections to Japan, aiming to enhance such research and strengthen its international foundation. Approximately two grants will be awarded, each with a maximum of 5,000 euros equivalent in Japanese yen (about 850,000 yen), for the period from April 1, 2027, to March 31, 2028.
