Gifu University will host the 20th Liberal Arts Lecture, titled "Reading Artworks", on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 10:30 to 12:00 at Room 104 of the General Education Building. The lecturer will be Professor Emeritus Yukihiro Nomura, who has long been involved in art education at the Faculty of Education and received this year's "Education Good Practice Director's Special Award". The lecture will discuss methods for viewing and interpreting artworks, drawing on his extensive educational experience. Admission is free and open to students of Gifu University and Nagoya University, faculty and staff of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System, and the general public. Capacity is 100 in person and 100 online via ZOOM, and advance registration is required.
