Fragments of Kanazawa College of Art's Old School Building Turned into Art Amulets: 80th Anniversary Stamp Rally Privilege (Hokkoku Shimbun)
Summary
Kanazawa College of Art has created new amulets called "Art Amulets" (Bijutsu Mamori) containing fragments of the school name monument from its old school building to commemorate its 80th anniversary. These amulets will be given as prizes to the first 300 participants of the digital stamp rally "KANABI Machinaka Art Goshuin Rally," which started on the 6th. The amulets are 5.5 cm by 3.5 cm, feature a palm design based on the college's motto "Think with your hands, create with your heart," and were designed by alumna Akane Endo. Additionally, those who collect three stamps will receive a "Travel Safety Sticker" (limited to the first 500 people). The exchange counter is on the first floor of the new campus Building 2 and will be open until March 1 next year. Furthermore, the Kanazawa College of Art Art Gallery is hosting an 80th anniversary exhibition displaying the history of the school buildings from the first generation to the present, using photos and panels, until January 22 next year. A representative expressed the hope that many people will feel the history of the college.
