Fukuoka City will hold the 47th Chuo Ward Citizens' Cultural Festival "Art Exhibition" from November 10 to 15, 2026, at the Fukuoka Art Museum, 2nd floor galleries B, C, D, E, and F. The General Division will display all 141 submitted works (Western-style painting, Japanese-style painting, calligraphy, photography, handicrafts, and no-genre), while the Elementary and Junior High School Division will display all 678 works (painting and calligraphy). Admission is free and no reservation is required. Participatory projects include the "Citizens' Award," where visitors act as judges and vote for their favorite works, the "Maple Tree," where visitors write their impressions on maple leaves and attach them to a tree trunk drawing, and an "Online Art Exhibition" to be released after the event. The awards ceremony will be held on November 15 from 15:30 at the Fukuoka Art Museum 1st-floor Museum Hall, and a gallery talk will also be held on the same day from 16:45.
