Summary
"TOKYO ATLAS" is a core program of the Tokyo International Cultural and Arts Festival "ARTE TOKYO", held from October 10 to December 20 at Odaiba, Aomi, and Tennozu. It features domestic and international artists who place artworks in urban spaces. At Odaiba Park, Yayoi Kusama's "Narcissus Garden", Kenta Ishige's sound installation, and Reiko Ikemura's "Moon Rabbit Landing" are exhibited. At the Telecom Center Building in Aomi, Yayoi Kusama's large balloon work "Yayoi-chan" and the Japan premiere of "Love Bouquet Seen from Space" are combined in a world-first display. The underground parking garage hosts works dealing with land reclamation, labor, and human-environment relationships. At Tennozu, works by Keita Mori, Yuriko Sasaoka, and Kim Sooja are shown, and WHAT MUSEUM hosts the related program "Coordinates". Admission is free (some paid programs).
