Kyoto Art Center will host FOCUS #7, a solo exhibition by Koki Tanaka titled "No Time to Sleep / Time to Sleep," from November 6, 2026 to January 11, 2027. FOCUS is a series introducing mid-career artists through solo shows; in this seventh edition, Tanaka explores how to reconcile the lack of time caused by work and childcare, proposing ways of coping through several exercises. Related events include an opening reception on November 6 (free, no reservation required) and an artist talk on November 7 (free, advance registration required). The venue is Galleries North and South, open 10:00–20:00, admission free. Closed on November 25 and from December 26 to January 4. Organized by Kyoto Art Center (Kyoto Arts and Culture Foundation).
