The oil painting museum 'Kan no Kaze' in Takebe-cho, Okayama City, renovated from the home of Western-style painter Sato Sadamu (1935–2018), is planning an art appreciation event for elementary school students. Curated by his eldest daughter Yuki Oda, the museum houses approximately 190 works tracing Sato's career, including his signature 'Sadam Black' depictions of Bicchu Kagura and nature. Following a request from Takebe Elementary School, the inaugural event will invite local students to view the collection and engage in creative activities. Teachers previewed the museum in late July to prepare. The museum aims to provide a space for children to experience original artwork in the digital age. Admission is free on specific weekends from April to June and September to November.
