A free art and environmental education exhibition featuring Pokémon made from recycled materials will be held in Yaesu, Tokyo, in September 2026.Summary
Tamabi University of Art and Tokyo Midtown Yaesu will host the "Art & Environmental Education Exhibition in Yaesu Thinking with Pokémon" from September 18-27, 2026. The exhibition will feature 53 Pokémon sculptures created by students from Tamabi's Product Design studio3 using waste materials, including ocean plastic debris washed ashore in Saga Prefecture. The sculptures, part of the "POKÉMON UPCYCLE SCULPTURE" series, aim to raise awareness of environmental issues like climate change through art. The free event will be held at the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Atrium and is organized by Tamabi and the Yaesu 2-chome Kita District Area Management Association, with support from the Pokémon With You Foundation.
