The 4th edition of the international art fair "Tokyo Gendai" is being held from September 11th to 13th at Pacifico Yokohama's Hall C/D. It brings together approximately 70 select galleries from Japan and abroad, organized into five major sectors. Alongside the core "Galleries," "Hana (Flower)," and "Eda (Branch)" sectors, a new "Miki (Trunk)" sector focuses on works on paper, while the "Tane (Seed)" sector dedicated to digital media has returned after a two-year hiatus. The "Galleries" sector features curated presentations from leading international galleries, with highlights including displays by Sarah Lucas and Akiyuki Nosaka at Sadie Coles HQ (London), and a large black ball by Ryan Gander at TARO NASU.
