International Art Exhibition "TOKYO ATLAS" to Be Held, Painting Tokyo's Bay Area with Art

A new international art exhibition, "TOKYO ATLAS", which fuses urban space with art, will be held from Saturday, October 10 to Sunday, December 20, 2026 in the bay area of Odaiba, Aomi, and Tennozu. Featuring a Japan-premiere work by Yayoi Kusama, "Bouquet of Love I Saw in the Universe", a 6-meter-tall monumental sculpture by Leiko Ikemura, and diverse works and projects by artists from Japan and abroad such as Thailand's Kawita Vatanajyankur and Indonesia's Epee Nur, the exhibition will unfold across everyday urban spaces including seaside parks, landmark architecture, and an unused underground parking lot. With Yayoi Kusama Museum director Tatehata Akira and Naoshima New Museum director Miki Akiko serving as artistic directors, this open exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the appeal of Tokyo while experiencing art.
