Takamatsu City Shionoe Museum of Art Special Exhibition "Eiichi Tsujino + Yuki Tsujino Two-Person Exhibition 'All Living Things'"
Summary
A two-person exhibition themed on "living things" by sculptor Eiichi Tsujino, who lives in Sakaide City, and illustrator Yuki Tsujino will be held at the special exhibition room of the Takamatsu City Shionoe Museum of Art. Eiichi Tsujino (born 1960) uses the act of "scorching" as a main feature of his expressive technique, creating wood sculptures and scorched paintings full of vitality modeled on the beauty of natural forms. Yuki Tsujino (born 1964), known for her warm style, produces paintings, picture books, illustrations, and advertising art, depicting a "nonsense" world of funny and odd creatures from a pure and free perspective. Both artists express, by their own hands rather than with digital tools, the beauty of this world formed by countless lives. The exhibition runs from Saturday, October 10, to Sunday, November 29, of Reiwa 8 (2026), from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (admission until 4:30 p.m.). Admission is 300 yen for general visitors, 150 yen for university students (includes permanent collection admission; 20% discount for groups of 20 or more). High school students and younger, those aged 65 and over, holders of disability certificates, and students of universities participating in the Takamatsu City Campus Members system are free. Admission is free on Saturday, November 14, "Shionoe Museum Day." Closed on Mondays (October 12 and November 23 open; October 13 and November 24 closed). Organized by the Takamatsu City Shionoe Museum of Art.
