The Sanjo Art Association, based in Sanjo City, was established in 1991 with the belief that industrial development and artistic promotion are inseparable in a manufacturing town. This year marks its 35th anniversary. The 26th Sanjo Art Association Exhibition runs from August 28-30 at the Sanjo East Community Center, featuring approximately 70 works across seven categories: Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture, crafts, calligraphy, photography, and printmaking. The association has about 70 members ranging from their 20s to 80s, who have contributed carefully crafted works including ink paintings of historical figures, calligraphy featuring Laozi's quotes, and landscape photographs. Director IKEURA Tomoyuki oversaw the exhibition preparation.
