This public lecture focuses on the formation of the contemporary art education system in Russia, tracing its evolution from institutions like the Institute of Contemporary Art Problems and the Rodchenko School to new educational models in the 21st century. The session highlights how art institutions form professional environments and the language of contemporary art to meet modern demands. As part of the lecture, a video work by contemporary artist Antonina Baever will be introduced (audio in Russian, with English subtitles).
