This transition occurs due to the closure of the Kanagawa Prefectural Citizens' Hall, serving as an exploration of the future of art exhibitions. Admission will be free.
Open to artists nationwide, the exhibition features four categories: "Flat/Three-Dimensional Art," "Crafts," "Calligraphy," and "Photography." Applications will be accepted via the official website from September 1 to October 16, 2026. The event offers significant monetary prizes, including 1 million yen for the Grand Prize in the Flat/Three-Dimensional category and 500,000 yen for Grand Prizes in other categories. The judging panel includes experts such as art critic Takuya Nakao and Saki Nagato, Director of the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Modern Art.
