ART OSAKA 2026, a contemporary art fair based in the Kansai region since 2002, will be held in May 2026. The event is divided into two main areas: the "Galleries section" at Congress Square Grand Green Osaka and the "Expanded section" at Creative Center Osaka.
The Galleries section has been reorganized into four categories—Galleries, Focus, Wall, and Screening—featuring 52 domestic and international galleries showcasing artists ranging from masters to emerging talents. A concurrent special exhibition titled "Another 90s: Kansai Artists Transcending Eras" will highlight significant works from the 1990s by artists associated with the Kansai region. Additionally, the Expanded section will feature 13 artists presenting large-scale works and installations, complemented by scheduled talk events and workshops.
