The event is co-directed by Takuya Sumi, Nguyen Tu Han, Kyoko Nakamura, and Kenji Ieiri, bringing together domestic and Asian artists and shifting from a traditional sales-focused fair to a dialogue and interaction-oriented experience. A new multi-year artist slot has been introduced to deepen ties with the local community, and the fair will also feature a multi-venue, circuit-style event that partners with local restaurants, hot springs, and lodging to offer limited-time menus, hot spring vouchers, and accommodation packages, thereby creating a new way to enjoy Beppu through art.
