The Pola Museum Annex in Ginza will host "Invisible Garden," the first joint exhibition by artist Asami Kiyokawa and sculptor Kohei Nawa, from September 16 to November 8. The exhibition was inspired by Kiyokawa's book, "Invisible Garden," and explores the intersection of Kiyokawa's work on visualizing the invisible through embroidery and narrative, and Nawa's exploration of the "skin" of sculpture using the concept of cells.
A highlight of the show is the large-scale collaborative piece "PixCell-Our New World," measuring approximately 9 meters in width. In this work, Nawa covers a composition of landscape photographs and generative AI fragments created by Kiyokawa with transparent cells, creating a shimmering effect of division and integration. The exhibition also features new individual works, such as Nawa's "PixCell-Random" and Kiyokawa's "Serendipity," with additional installations extending into the "POLA GINZA" store on the first floor.
