An open workshop titled 'Dancing Saturday' will be held at the Kyoto Art Center as a Category A selected project for the Co-program 2026, in preparation for the dance performance 'Respect People' scheduled for January 2027. Guided by choreographer and dancer Uchida Yuka, the workshop focuses on the keyword 'Respect' and allows participants to experience the joy of dancing. Starting with stretching and simple exercises, participants will explore the sensation of their bodies moving using words and imagery. No dance experience is required, and the workshop is recommended for anyone who has felt their heart race watching someone or something dance. The event will take place on Saturdays from May 30 to September 12, from 11:00 to 12:30. The venue is Studio 12 (Studio 6 only on July 4), with a capacity of approximately 10 people (reservation required), free of charge.
