The Saitama Prefectural Museum of Modern Art, under the Saitama Prefectural Board of Education, will hold a ceremony on August 20, 2025, from 15:30 to 16:30 in the 2nd floor hall to present a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Maki Hiroyuki, Representative Director and CEO of Buffalo Inc., who donated artworks in fiscal year 2025. The donation includes five works by the artist duo Nerhol, following their previous exhibitions such as 'Sowing and Crows: Misreading Righteousness' and 'Nerhol: Rolling the Horizon' at the Chiba City Museum of Art. Mr. Maki, who launched the 'anonymous art project' in 2023, has been actively supporting contemporary art through collection and donations to public museums. The ceremony will include a presentation of the donation details, a greeting by the Education Superintendent, the certificate presentation, a greeting by Mr. Maki, and a commemorative photo. Two to three donated works will be exhibited at the venue.
