On August 8, 2026, the 76th Gakuten Award ceremony was held at the National Art Center Tokyo's 3F Auditorium. Winners from various categories, including children and general participants, received awards from judges. The ceremony featured a special video project themed "Kizuna, Mazaru" and interviews with judges, including Hiroshi Sugimoto, Makoto Kuroda, Kanna Sasaki, Kameko Kato, Chiharu Nomura, and Shinji Nanjuka. The most outstanding school award went to Tokyo Gakkan Funabashi High School's Art Club, and the outstanding instructor award to Atelier Bonbon. Pasona art now Chairman Dai Kakegawa presented the corporate award to Yuji Shimoda's "Napping" for elementary school students. The exhibition of winning works runs until August 16th at the National Art Center.
