Summary
A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to archive the design collection of the late Nagai Keiji, who spent half a century gathering items from around the world. As an interior designer and collector, Nagai collected numerous products created by architects and designers representing modern design, such as Hans J. Wegner, Paul Kooijmans, Achille Castiglioni, and Dieter Rams, totaling an estimated 25,000 items. These are currently stored in a warehouse in Fukuoka Prefecture without organization.
