Organized into five chapters, the collection ranges from common animals like cats and dogs to mythical creatures such as oni, kappa, and nue, as well as anthropomorphic vegetables. Despite the "scary" theme, the curator emphasizes that the works are primarily humorous and accessible to first-time ukiyo-e viewers.
