Benesse House Museum and Park to Feature New Exhibitions; "Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery: Time Reflected" to Undergo Partial Renewal

Benesse House Museum and Park in Naoshima have implemented exhibition changes. At the Benesse House Museum, Yoshihiro Suda's "Rose, Former Public Telephone Booth" has been newly exhibited, and one artwork created in Naoshima has been added to the existing work "Weeds," which has been on display since 2002. The museum has also changed its display in the painting room, showcasing works by Daniel Buren and Thomas Struth. The "Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery: Time Reflected," opened in March 2022 within Benesse House Park, has also been partially renewed with some artworks changed and the lounge, designed by Shin-Materia Kenkyujo, renovated. Additionally, the glass tea house "Kanchōan," exhibited outdoors, now features new nighttime illumination, enhancing its accessibility for viewing.
