A new exhibition space called "YURAKUCHO MUSEUM" will open inside the Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, Tokyo, on July 10. The opening exhibition is "Not Just Cute! Pingu Exhibition," which focuses on the Swiss clay animation "Pingu." The exhibition runs from July 10 to September 6. "Pingu" is a stop-motion animation created by Swiss filmmaker Otto Maier, marking its 45th anniversary in 2025. Since 1990, the TV series has been broadcast in over 155 countries and regions worldwide. The exhibition will display actual clay models used in the animation production, as well as production materials like early studio records and storyboards, introducing the history of the series and the backgrounds of the characters. A photo spot modeled after "Pingu's House" from the animation will also be set up. Additionally, a collaboration work titled "Pingu Breaking the Shell" by artist Tatsuya Tanaka will be unveiled.
