This article is the second part of a review examining the political and critical implications of "the street" and the act of "walking" within the context of the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art's collection exhibition, "Walking, Staying."
The review focuses on four artists: Jun Nguyen-Hatsushiba, whose underwater footage symbolizes the struggles of laborers and migrants; Kei Murakami, who questions property ownership and social systems by carrying a self-made house; Anri Yanase, who uses recitation and marking lines on streets to highlight social boundaries and political tensions; and Shaoxiong Chen, who uses ink media to explore how media-captured protest imagery reflects gendered perspectives in public spaces.
