The Daidōzan Art Museum in Tenjitown, Niigata Prefecture, located in a historic 120-year-old villa associated with novelist Sakaguchi Kankichi, will offer a matcha and neri-kiri experience from July. Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers and landscapes while tasting matcha with a subtle bitterness. The experience runs from 9:00 to 15:00 (last entry at 14:30), costing 1,200 yen (tax-inclusive) plus a 600 yen entrance fee. Reservations are not required, but prior notice is needed for groups of four or more.
