The Kakogawa City Art Association, which manages the Matsukaze Gallery, has completed a major renovation project, supported by the Harima Chemical Group, marking the first such extensive renovation since the gallery's opening 32 years ago. The facility was closed for construction from January to the end of May and reopened on June 1st. To commemorate this renewal, the association is holding a memorial art exhibition titled "My Favorite Kakogawa" featuring works from its members across five categories. The exhibition will be held in the gallery's first-floor exhibition room from July 5th to July 18th, 2026, with free admission and no prior registration required. The gallery is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 (closing at 15:00 on the final day).
