These include the "Slave Genealogy" series from the 1960s, which features teeth and creates an impact, and the first piece from the "Heliocentric Theory Series" from the 1980s, which balances rough brushwork with stillness. A curator from the museum expressed hope that many local residents would view the exhibition since Kikuhata was a painter from Minami Town. The "5th Anniversary of Death: Shigehisa Kikuhata Exhibition" runs until February 15th.
