gallery αM is restarting the biennial project series "αM+" in 2026 following a hiatus due to relocation, featuring Takuhiro Uemura's solo exhibition, "As If Breathing," from March 7 to March 28, 2026. Uemura, born in 1980, is known for sculptures that change weight through exchange with viewers or vending machine-style works. For this exhibition, he will display two large FRP cylindrical sculptures titled "lung," which he states contain the amount of air equivalent to what four people breathe in a day.
