The artscape 30th-anniversary project is approaching its final stage as spring begins to arrive. The culminating event, titled "1995 ⇄ 2025 ⇄ 2055 ── Considering 60 Years of the Art Scene and Art Media," is set for March 6th at the DNP Ginza Building and is already fully booked. The event will feature Mori Tsukasa, one of the key figures from the early days of artscape's operation (now at Arts Council Tokyo), who will discuss the past and future of art media with special 30th-anniversary editorial committee member Hoshino Futoshi. The author also references related past articles concerning both Mori and Hoshino, and promises a report on the event will be published later.
