Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) is holding the exhibition of results from the 2025 residency program, titled "Walking Barefoot," in two parts. The exhibition features 13 artist groups who resided and created works at TOKAS and partner institutions worldwide in 2025. The exhibition explores the concept of removing the metaphorical "shoes" of belonging to groups that define value and thought, and walking barefoot to reconnect with the world. The first period features 7 artists, including four who participated in the theme project "Technology and the Form of Humans" and three who participated in the twinning program. The second period features 6 groups sharing the same space, including three artists who participated in the overseas creator recruitment program and three who participated in the twinning program. Artist talks are also scheduled as related events.
