151 Excellent Works Mesmerize Visitors as "Shinwa Art Exhibition" Opens in Tsuyama
Summary
The "Shinwa Art Exhibition," a national open call painting and print exhibition organized by the Tsuyama Shinwa Cultural Foundation, has opened at Arune Tsuyama in Tsuyama City. The exhibition features 151 selected works from approximately 200 submissions received from 21 prefectures and Taiwan. The top prize, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, was given to Fukuhiru Utsumi from Kyoto for his Japanese painting "Bird and Human." The Grand Prix went to Kanako Fujiwara from Akaiwa City for her Western-style painting "Wind Pattern." The organizers noted the high quality of the works and the promising advancement of young artists. The exhibition, held since 1989, is free to enter and runs until October 26th.
