To mark the 17th anniversary of its establishment, Kanazawa Art Gummi is hosting a solo exhibition by Kyoto and UK-based artist Noriko Okaku, titled "Meaning of Meaninglessness." Okaku, known for integrating scientific, mythological, and folk knowledge systems into her work using diverse technologies, returns to her roots in this exhibition by presenting a large-scale animation-based installation. The exhibition runs from April 25 to July 20, 2026. An opening talk featuring guest Meruro Washida is scheduled for April 26.
